Minister Munyakazi tells fresh graduates to have self-confidence |
From NewTimes Rwanda: University graduates need to have self-discipline and confidence to succeed in the competitive labour market, the Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, Isaac Munyakazi, has said. He was speaking at the second graduation ceremony of the University of Kigali held at Petit Stade in Remera, yesterday. Over 650 students graduated with degrees in different disciplines. Speaking at the ceremony, Munyakazi advised the fresh graduates to be exemplary and embrace national development programmes. “For Rwanda to develop, it needs to produce professionals who have self-discipline and self confidence, that is why government encourages private investments in education,” he said. |

People analytics is the process of using data to measure, predict, and influence the most business-relevant human capital outcomes such as turnover, engagement, and selection. Although the majority of the HR respondents we surveyed report their senior leaders still use gut feel to make talent decisions (62% agree), 92% say people analytics skills are becoming more important for HR professionals. However, 62% report their HR functions are lacking the people analytics skill sets they need. To address this reality, 58% are developing people analytics capabilities as a strategic priority at their organizations. This study of over 270 organizations illustrates how people analytics capabilities are built. |
